Tenancy Progressor

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Tenancy Progressor to join our lettings team at our Wimbledon Village office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tenancy progression process from offer acceptance to move-in, ensuring all documentation, compliance, and communication are handled efficiently and professionally. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, and third parties to coordinate the smooth progression of tenancy agreements.
  • Prepare and issue tenancy agreements, guarantor forms, and legal documentation.
  • Conduct compliance checks and ensure all tenants meet the necessary criteria.
  • Collect first month’s rent, and security deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements including Right to Rent checks, Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs, and EICRs.
  • Organise inventories, check-ins, and move-in appointments.
  • Update CRM systems and maintain accurate records throughout the tenancy process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all parties and act as the main point of contact during the pre-tenancy stage.
  • Resolve queries efficiently and professionally, escalating issues where appropriate.

Key requirements

  • Previous experience in a lettings or property-related role is desirable.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and lettings CRM systems (e.g., Reapit, Jupix, or similar).
  • Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred qualifications

  • ARLA Propertymark qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Knowledge of the lettings process
