Rent with Zero Deposit
At Hawes & Co we know moving home can be a costly process, especially when the majority of tenants have to pay a 5 week deposit at the beginning of the tenancy. The Zero deposit guarantee makes renting more affordable by replacing the traditional security deposit with the equivalent of one weeks rent.
How does it work?
1. Find a property to rent
Find a property to rent with us and find out if its eligible for the Zero Deposit Guarantee by contacting your local branch.
2. Get a quote
If you decide to opt in for the scheme rather than the traditional security deposit we will provide you with a quote which will be the equivalent of one weeks rent.
3. Make the payment
If happy with the quote you will then make the payment which will be non refundable.
4. End of tenancy checkout
If you return the property in good condition and your landlord is happy your guarantee will end and there is nothing else you will need to do. If the landlord wishes to claim money you will be given the option to pay this directly to the landlord but if you are not happy with this and think it is not fair this can be passed to the TDS to review and resolve.
